Coach Jon has been a Fastball coach for the last 6 years. He made the transition to our River City Hornets family this year from Fastball St. Albert (FSA) where he was on their board of Directors for the last 2 years. Jon will be lending his hand in all aspects of coaching and has been asked to play a role as Conditioning Coach for the U17 River City Hornets. Jon brings experience from his 5 year career where he played for the University of Regina Rams as a Defensive lineman.

His approach is specifically driven towards athletic and fluid movement around the diamond, and a commitment to mental preparation in order to succeed. Coach Jon believes that playing softball should be fun first, and results will come as a result of that positive experience. He also believes that competition, preparation and hard work are paramount to the team’s success.

Coach Jon is excited to work alongside Head Coach Brad and expects RCH U17-Kezema to be the 1) most prepared team on the diamond, 2) and be in the best shape!
