I started playing T-Ball when I was four years old for Cold Lake Minor Ball. When I turned six, I played for the softball team in Cold Lake called Wildcats. Over the years, I have played a little bit of all positions. I was really big into pitching but then tried playing third base, and really liked it. The positions I like most now are third and left field. I like playing third because I get lots of action both mentally and physically. I also like to play left field because I can catch the big hits and throw them in right away to the infield. My favorite thing about the River City Hornets is that we all connected as a team right away. When I came to the first practice, I connected with so many of the girls right away and wasn’t shy or nervous. The coaches are very welcoming and put a lot of work into our team to make us better each practice. Other than softball, I play on a club volleyball team out of Bonnyville called Rhinos. During the school season, I compete in track and field, cross country and volleyball.
