I started playing softball at 9 years old for a local community team. I played with them for 4 years, mainly as a pitcher. In 2019 I was offered a position on High Park’s club team; I played with them for a year before the organization shut down. After experiencing the competitive side of softball I knew I didn’t want to go back to community, so I tried out for a couple different club teams; I was thrilled to be offered a spot at River City! I've been playing with River City for the past 3 years and I'm excited about having a spot on Coach Jon's team.
Playing for the River City Hornets has taught me so much about the game, teamwork, the importance of mindset, and about myself. Part of the reason I enjoy softball so much is because of my team and the friends I’ve made here. I’ve been pitching throughout my entire softball career and it’s one of my favourite positions to play. Pitching gives me a feeling of control over the game and wiping out a lineup of batters is always fun.
